THE BACK STORY

 


Silver Management, established in 2004 by Jack Silver, is founded on 30+ years of experience in sales and business development. In 1999, twenty five years after Jack started and built a headhunting and staffing business, he sold his company. Over the next several years he developed and taught classes at the university level on marketing and business development. He also did seminars on military bases on "how to find jobs when you leave the military".

In addition to the staffing business he was a principle in and helped launch a software company; a human resources consulting firm; and served on numerous boards of not-for-profit organizations beginning with his service as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Brazil from 1964-1966.

Jack’s business background is partnered with his son Michael’s background in theater, acting, production and directing. Michael and Jack’s knowledge and experience covers the full gamut of skills inherent to the entertainment industry.

Client Service based on honesty, the building of long term relationships and total accessibility has always been the basis of his business model. Those same principles continue today in Silver Management.

It is Silver Management’s intent to not only represent recognized and established talent, but also to become a source for new talent by providing advocacy and support when it is perhaps most needed and least available to developing actors.
